AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
All stories delivered through Dream Tales are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) and are intended for entertainment purposes only. While we design our AI prompts to produce age-appropriate, wholesome content, please be aware of the following:
- AI-generated stories may occasionally contain unexpected or imperfect content. We encourage parents to review stories before or during reading with their children.
- Stories are not a substitute for professional educational materials, therapy, or medical advice.
- We make no guarantee regarding the specific content, themes, or quality of any individual story generated by the AI.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a parent or legal guardian to create a Dream Tales account. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. Dream Tales accounts are intended to be operated by adults on behalf of their children.
Subscription and Billing
Dream Tales is offered as a subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:
- Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. Payment is processed automatically through our payment provider.
- Cancel anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to receive stories until then.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase, and the new price will apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
Refund Policy
If you are unsatisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund by contacting our support team within 7 days of the most recent charge. Refund requests can be submitted by emailing waylan@getdavid.ai.
Refunds are issued at our discretion and are typically processed within 5–10 business days. Refund requests made after the 7-day window may not be honored. Free trial periods are not eligible for refunds as no charge is incurred.
No Guarantee of Specific Story Content
While we strive to deliver high-quality, personalized stories each day, we do not guarantee the specific content, themes, length, or style of any individual story. Story generation depends on AI technology that may produce varying results. We reserve the right to modify our story generation process, themes, and formats at any time to improve the service.
Intellectual Property
The Dream Tales brand, website design, logos, and all original content created by our team are the intellectual property of Dream Tales and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Stories generated for your account are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You are welcome to read, save, and share stories with your family. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell AI-generated stories for commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of any personal information you provide (such as your child's name and preferences). By providing this information, you grant Dream Tales a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of generating and delivering personalized stories.
Account Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at waylan@getdavid.ai or through your account settings. Upon termination, your active subscription will be cancelled and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used the Service in a manner that could harm Dream Tales or other users. In such cases, we may terminate your account without prior notice or refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dream Tales and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to Dream Tales in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
